　　西罗（马可·达摩雷饰）是萨瓦斯塔诺家族老大彼得（福尔图纳托·切尔力诺饰），和他的儿子杰尼（萨瓦托雷·艾斯博斯托饰）崭露头角的亲信。策略需要，为争夺市场的控制权，与敌对家族互相暴力报复。故事叙述从家族老大被抓、权力真空出现后开始展开，尽管杰尼在血统上是下一任继承人，却似乎西罗才是最具有竞争力也最可靠的人选。
